Story

Hawley and Rodgers Solicitors is a Solicitors firm in Nottingham City Centre. At our Nottingham office we have a dedicated family team that assists survivors of domestic abuse in court proceedings relating to child arrangements, divorce, financial matters and injunctions. We offer Legal Aid to victims of domestic abuse to ensure everyone can access legal advice and be represented fairly. We strive to support victims of domestic abuse as we understand the emotional turmoil they can experience. We want to help raise awareness of such an important charity and shine a light on the work they do.

The Steps to Survive Fundraiser occurs every year between 1st to 31st May during National Walking Month. Fundraisers are challenged to walk 39 miles within the month to raise vital funds for Juno Women's Aid.

Juno Women’s Aid is the largest domestic abuse organisation in Nottingham and one of the largest in the UK. They work with women, children, and teens who have been affected by domestic abuse in Ashfield, Broxtowe, Gedling, Nottingham City, and Rushcliffe. At any one time, they're supporting 500-600 women and children.

This campaign hopes to raise awareness of Domestic Abuse and the courage it takes for a survivor to take those steps to freedom.
