Story
Haydon the Womble is in his 20th season, so he has set himself a target to raise over £20,000 for local charities.
He loved doing the zip wire at Merton Council's Big Sports Day, so now he wants to go higher literally!
So somehow he has roped in the help of 4 people to jump out of a plane to do a skydive.
It is unlikely that Haydon can do the actual jump, but If he can he will, but it's more likely his pal Dean will do it on his behalf.
He is being supported by Les Evans & Scott Clarke from Parkway Driving School.
And now Kerry Hoath who works for AFC Wimbledon is also joining us! She is as mad as Les and is very excited to be joining us!
Les can often be seen assisting Haydon at events across the community and now somehow Haydon has convinced him to join him, jumping out a plane. Then he convinced Scott to join us too, and now Kerry too, Les and Kerry are excited, Scott and myself not so much!
So please make this crazy idea worthwhile and donate to help AFC Wimbledon continue their great work in the community.
AFC Wimbledon Foundation helps our community pursue their dreams by improving their skills, resilience, well being & confidence.
We do this by...
Inspiring active lifestyles in local children
Improving the lives of older people
Championing sustainable sports participation for women & girls
We need more funding so we can reach, engage and inspire more disadvantaged people in our community to lead an active lifestyle.
