Story
On Saturday October 18th (date rescheduled due to bad weather) I’m taking on a huge personal challenge — jumping out of a perfectly good plane from 10,000 ft — to raise funds for Dove House Hospice.
As many of you know, Dove House Hospice is an incredible charity that provides specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses. They go above and beyond: helping fulfil final wishes, creating comforting, homely spaces, keeping loved ones close, preparing favourite meals, and offering vital bereavement counselling for families.
But here’s the tough part: they need £10 million every year to keep their services running — and only 10% of that comes from government funding. The rest relies entirely on donations and fundraising.
For me, this is a double challenge. I lived with a paralysing fear of flying for years, something I only overcame through hypnosis. So while this jump is nerve-wracking, it’s also incredibly exciting — and for such a meaningful cause.
If you’re able to support me and donate (no matter how small), it would mean the world. Together, we can help Dove House continue their remarkable work.
Thank you so much for your support — it truly is appreciated!
