This JustGiving page is set up in memory of Hayley Browning (née Burdett). Our aim is to raise funds for AMMF, the only registered charity in the UK working to research into Cholangiocarcinoma, a liver cancer occurring within the bile ducts.

Hayley showed mild symptoms from mid-2024, but became more seriously unwell towards the end of 2024, struggling with abdominal pain, fatigue, nausea, weight-loss and difficulty walking.

After a series of different scans and a biopsy, it was determined that she had a rare and aggressive form of bile duct (liver) cancer called metastatic sarcomatoid cholangiocarcinoma.

As is common for this type of cancer, the diagnosis came too late for any treatment to be possible, as it had already spread to other parts of her body. The diagnosis was terminal, with likely months to live.

Just 26 days after being given the terminal cancer diagnosis, Hayley passed away at Leckhampton Court Hospice, aged just 37.

She leaves behind her beloved 2 year old daughter Phoebe and husband Glenn, as well as her loving family, parents Richard and Carol, and older sisters, Jenny and Anna.

She was a much loved friend and inspiring entrepreneur with her business, Bay's Kitchen.

We hope to raise money to help others have a better chance than Hayley had of surviving this disease.
