My darling son Ben was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia in December 2022 and began treatment thereafter, undergoing chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. In December of this year, 2023, we knew Ben was entering the last weeks, and then days of his life. He spent this time at Somersham Ward. Ben died 28.12.203 aged 22. We are devastated beyond words. I cannot thank the staff of Somersham Ward enough for the love and care they have given Ben. Angels on earth 🌎 Therefore Ben, and us as a family would like to give something back to them. It will never replace Ben, or match the thanks we have, but it will honour his memory. Strength, courage, determination. Make the most of every day ❤
