UPDATE... We did it! Trekked / climbed, ascended and descended for over 15 hours. Covered 57km. In total climbed 1646m (300m more than Ben Nevis). A huge huge heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for all of your kind donations to both Brain Tumour Research UK and the Keech Hospice, we are truly humbled and very grateful.

Gorgeous George Fox, who would be 15, is a very much missed and fondly remembered member of our school community. A group of staff from Arnold Academy, George's school, are aiming to complete 15 hours walking through the Peak District in one weekend, to raise funds for both Brain Tumour Research and Keech Hospice (our school's chosen charity for the year) as a way to remember George, though as a school, we will never, ever forget him. Please feel free to choose either or both charities, we are grateful for any donations at all. For some of us, the biggest challenge will be the two nights camping this requires!

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
