Story
On Sunday 28th June, Luke will be running the Northwich 10K to help raise funds for the Joshua Tree charity!
Many may think this distance is small, but Luke is no natural runner 🫣 but with grit and determination he is doing it to increase awareness of a brilliant charity. It’s also a hell of a route!!
If you can spare anything for the charity, it would be most welcome, they have helped us so much and we will be forever grateful 💚🦒💚
When Nico was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 3, ours lives changed forever. In spite of the brilliant treatment Nico receives from Alder Hey, and the improvements he is making; the medical anxiety continue for the whole family.
The Joshua Tree has provided us all with light, at a very dark time. The support from the staff, the holistic approach, and the amazing warm hug the charity provides is something that is incredibly important to families being affected by childhood cancer.
The Joshua Tree is a Cheshire based Children's Cancer Charity. They operate across the North West and North Wales and are dedicated to working closely with families affected by childhood cancers. They tailor the services to suit the family’s specific needs, by means of emotional, academic and practical support, such as counselling, art and play therapy, health and well-being advice, support in and around the home and educational tutoring where required to help ensure that life remains as normal as possible during an incredibly traumatic time.
