Story
The McClean's have decided to go on tour again but this time we are going to join hundreds of cyclists on Sunday 23rd June 2024 taking on the Carlingford Loop Sportive to raise crucial funds for a very important local charity, Cancer Focus NI. This charity cycle will take on a 62km route around the scenic shores of Carlingford Lough.
The route will start at the Albert Basin in Newry passing the picturesque Omeath and Carlingford towards Greenore to board the Carlingford Ferry across to Greencastle. Cyclists will then disembark and continue their coastal route around the outskirts of Kilkeel, through Rostrevor and Warrenpoint before finishing in Newry.
Every year Cancer Focus NI supports over 6,000 local people affected by cancer and with 1 in 2 of us predicted to be affected by cancer in our lifetime, your donation will help to continue to provide these vital services to all those who require support now and in the future.
A massive thank you to everyone who donates or supports us in any way towards this very worthy cause in raising money for Cancer Focus NI. We are really looking forward to taking on this great cycle challenge together on June 23rd in this stunning location.
