Story
Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
I am walking the 10k Starlight hike around Cheltenham on the 18th October to raise money for the Sue Ryder charity, with my friend Nat. They provide incredible care and support to people and their families.
Nat"s Father-in-Law, Mike, went to the Sue Ryder Hospice in June and passed away at the beginning of July. The staff at the hospice were there for the family when they needed them most. They ensured Mike's last days were as comfortable as possible and in doing so gave the family, time and space to be with him.
Our goal is to raise money for Sue Ryder to support the palliative care, Hospice services and bereavement support services, so they can help others who use their services.
Every donation no matter how small goes towards funding their amazing work.
Please share this page with others to help us reach our goal.
