Motiv8 creates safer more connected communities for young people aged 9 to 19 (25 with SEND) in four of the UK’s most underinvested in coastal communities - Gosport, Fareham, Portsmouth, and Havant – and across Hampshire. Taking a Youth Work approach, Motiv8 empower young people. Motiv8 understand there are many factors that can lead to instability at home, impact emotional wellbeing, or increase the risk of involvement in anti-social behaviour or crime Through trusted relationships our expert teams build on what is strong not what is wrong ensuring the right provision is available at the right time, in a way that is right for each young person.

In 2024/2025 Motiv8 reached 5158 Young people and families, offering 14,866 hours of direct support - a 75% rise year on year. 665 people accessed personalised one-to-one youth mentoring and there were 851 attendees to our free warm, welcoming, and weekly youth hubs

For almost 30 years Motiv8 has supported. Grounded in lived experience, always free, and based within their neighbourhoods our work is place based delivered through eight interconnected strands that ‘wrap around’ all parts of a young person’s life: Youth Voice & Influence, Youth in Community, Youth & Family, Youth Mentoring, Youth Health & Wellbeing, Youth Skills, Youth Futures, and Youth Hubs.
