✨ We are trekking the Moroccan Sahara in support of St Clare Hospice and in memory of our dear friend Charlotte! 🏜️

In October 2026, we will be stepping far outside our comfort zone to take part in a breathtaking trek through the vast and dramatic landscapes of the Moroccan Sahara.

Over four days, we will be journeying across a desert terrain, with sand dunes bringing the most dramatic shifts in elevation, ancient riverbeds and shimmering sun-scorched plains but it’s the heat that will truly test us, with temperatures known to reach up to 40°C all under the endless skies of the desert. It’ll be physically demanding, and we’ve been advised to train in advance to help our bodies recover quickly after each stretch of exertion.

We are doing this for St Clare Hospice, whose care and compassion make an immeasurable difference to families during the toughest times. Every donation helps continue their incredible work, and we’d be truly grateful for your support.

As many of you know, our beloved friend Charlotte passed away in March 2025. During her final weeks, she was cared for by St Clare Hospice, a place that wrapped her in compassion and dignity when it was needed most. For just over nine weeks, they not only supported Charlotte with unwavering kindness, but also helped ease the pain for her family, making an incredibly difficult time just a little more bearable.

Now, it’s our turn to give something back.

By taking part in this trek, we are hoping to raise vital funds so that St Clare Hospice can continue providing the same extraordinary care to other families when they need it most. Your support means more than you know, please help us make sure that others can experience the same comfort, compassion, and dignity that Charlotte did.

Sahara Trek Itinerary Overview

• Day 1 – Touchdown in Morocco: We fly from London to Marrakech and settle into our hotel, ready to begin the journey. Depending on timing, we may travel straight to Ouarzazate to get closer to the desert.

• Day 2 – Into the Sahara: Crossing the majestic Atlas Mountains, we will make our way to the desert and meet our trek team and camels! We begin our walk into the Sahara and set up camp under the stars.

• Days 3 & 4 – Desert Trekking: We journey deeper into the heart of the Sahara, walking across sand dunes and rocky landscapes. We’ll cover at least 20km a day, supported by Berber guides and camels, and learn the ways of the nomadic life.

• Day 5 – Return to Marrakech: After a final desert stretch, we say goodbye to the trekking team and head back to Marrakech.

• Day 6 – Final Day: We will be flying back to London.
