Story
To celebrate an incredible milestone - her 90th Birthday - this September, Reta Mulligan will set herself the tall challenge of abseiling the Europa Hotel. In doing so, Reta hopes to raise awareness and donations for Cancer Focus. Like most family’s in Northern Ireland, Cancer has devastated the Mulligan Family.
Nazie Mulligan, Reta’s husband, and father to 5 died in 1997, aged 63 after a difficult battle with Cancer and most recently heartbreak struck the family again as Reta’s Son, Jim, lost his battle with Cancer, just weeks after celebrating his 60th birthday.
Reta, with her son Jason and Son-in-law Michael, will abseil the Europa Hotel on the 14th September honouring the memory of both Nazie & Jim, and all those who fought or are fighting cancer , and the families this impacts.
