On Sunday 27th April 2025, I will be taking part in the London Marathon. Never in a million years did I ever imagine running half a marathon, let alone a full one of 26.2 miles.

I entered the marathon ballot thinking I'd never get a place and Woops, I got in through the ballot.

Up until October 2024, I had never run more then 10km, but I have been training hard and determined to do this!

Although I don't need to raise money, I'd love to try and raise some in support of The Alzheimer's Society, £262 for 26.2 miles.

I truely hope that at some point there will be more hope for people suffering with dementia.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
