Story
Living with Alzheimer’s is tough….since Dads diagnosis we’ve navigated a scary, sad time and we are still a little clueless as to how to best manage this.
But we all have tough times, uncertainty and pain….we are no different. Ive decided that I am going to channel all this uncertainty into something positive.
I want to do challenge myself by pushing myself out of my comfort zone whilst raising money for a very worthy cause.
We’ve already ran 7 half marathons on 7 consecutive days and now we are doing a 24 hour walk/run/dance around Portishead Marina on March 28th, 2025.
Why? Because I want to bring people together who are facing tough times but want to channel this into something positive. So we will be working together, laughing, singing and celebrating tough times whilst complete 24 hours of lapping the marina.
Please support this in anyway you can. Either donating or joining in with some or the whole challenge.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.
Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
