This January and February I'm traveling to Thailand be a part of Spark Circus! As I'm taking time off between professional roles I'm choosing to support arts education and community development through this special project. I've been a part of a puppet group for the last nine years and got involved through my cousin Kim! Before my travel I'm raising funds to support the launch of the Stardust Circus School — a new community circus space designed to bring joy, confidence and creativity to children, young people and families.

After 15 years of working in this community, the team behind Stardust are finally able to take over a permanent space and transform it into a vibrant circus home. Local partners, youth groups and organisations have welcomed this project with open arms.

For many of the young people involved — including those who have escaped the Burmese civil war — Stardust offers something deeply important: a safe, joyful place where they can rebuild confidence, feel part of a community, and experience moments of pure fun and freedom.
