Hi! I'm a part of the Bright Kites Foundation. After teaching in Colombia, we wanted to continue bolstering educational equity for our well deserving students from underserved communities and open the doors for their future.

Our unique ambassador program awards students the opportunity to live in London, experience a different culture, practice their English skills and make friends from all over the world. We hope that on returning to Colombia our ambassadors will have the confidence to believe in their own abilities and strive for success.

Our 2024 Ambassadors:

Nelson from Cali: Nelson is 15 years old and excited to go to London so he can improve his pronunciation, reading and writing skills! He is always supporting his classmates in improving their English and every year he is one of the lead performers in his school's theater shows.

Dana from Pereira: Valery is 15 years old and is an active participant in her school’s theater and robotics group. She loves singing and dancing but her favorite hobby is writing. Her dream is to travel the world one day and write about it. She is excited to go to London to fulfill her dream!

Valery from Cali: Valery is 15 years old and is passionate about fashion, specifically eco/sustainable fashion. She knows that going to London is an opportunity of a lifetime and will open doors to many opportunities in the future. Miguel from Pereira:

Miguel is 15 years old and enjoys playing Basketball and chess. In his free time he volunteers at a number of non profit organizations and truly believes that there is more joy in giving than receiving. He is very passionate about English and can’t wait to improve his vocabulary and learn about a new culture in London.
