Hello xxx
As most of you know, Seashell Trust (AKA my happy place!) has a huge place in my heart, and after many years of refusing to take part in their Strictly Seashell Event..(forgetful brain, lack of co-ordination, fear of falling over… to name a few!) I I finally agreed to take part this year..
On 17th May, I will be dancing (as much as the old hips and knees will allow!) the Argentinian Tango with my very lovely partner Lewis in front of 400 people 🙈😬!! To raise money for Seashell Trust..
Seashell is the most wonderful charity, giving children with the most severe sensory impairments the opportunity to learn communication and every day life skills to become the very best individuals they can possibly be….. nothing is too much or too difficult for these Amazing kids, as well as their teachers and carers… so if they can do it, I’ll give it a bloody good go and PG🙏🙏 the brain and body will catch up with each other at the same time!! 💃 🪩 🕺🏻 XXXX
Every penny you are able to give helps children like Arthur.
Arthur was diagnosed with Autism when he was three years old. He is largely nonverbal. His needs could not be met by mainstream schools resulting in his anxiety reaching such levels that he was self-harming.
"The second he walked into a classroom at Seashell, you could tell he felt at home. The staff had him interacting better than he ever had with someone he had only just met. I can't imagine where we would be without Seashell" Neryssa, Arthur's Mum.
Supporting Seashell means you will be helping to transform the lives of many children Arthur.
