Story
Having been diagnosed with severe Endometriosis (stage 4 DIE & Adenomyosis) in November 2023. I have had 2 operations since then to remove as much of the Endo as possible. The last one only being in February 2025, which was a major one involving a total hysterectomy, along with work on my abdominal organs including bowel, bladder & appendix etc.
Although I am still recovering, I am starting to feel like the old me (or what I thought was me). In December I was contacted by Endometriosis UK to ask if I would like to take a cancellation place to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 12th April. Those that know me, know that I couldn’t turn this down, so yes, I will be taking part. Not only will I be raising awareness of what Endometriosis is, I will also be raising funds to help support the research into finding a cure one day.
So in April 2026, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a special cause. Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
