Beau’s fundraiser for Legend on the Bench - Someone is always listening

Hayley Williams is raising money for Legend on the Bench - Someone is always listening
In memory of Andy Hewitt

3 peaks initially snowdon · 3 August 2025

The goal is to install benches in as many public parks throughout the UK, discreetly inscribed with a QR code, that opens up an array of supporting organisations for Mental Health issues and Suicide Awareness/Support. Someone is always listening...

Story

We lost my partner Andy when he took his own life in December. We didn't see the warning signs and hate that he never knew how loved and needed he was.

Suicide has rocked us as a family but we are pulling together to get through this supporting our son and to keep living for Andy.

Andy's brother Alan and my 11 year old son Beau want to walk the three highest peaks in mainland UK in Andy’s memory, Scarfel pike, Ben Nevis with Snowdon being the first.

For what would have been Andy's 53rd birthday, we his family and friends are supporting Beau and Alan in climbing snowdon to raise money for a suicide prevention bench (through legend on the bench) to be placed at his home town football ground Flint Town United

We are grateful for any support
