With my son and husband recently completing 2 mountain climbs in the Lake District I decided it was my turn to put on my walking boots and raise some money for a worthwhile charity. And maybe my competitive nature had something to do with me signing up to do this epic challenge of the National Three Peaks in 24hrs!

The Impellam Group and Lia's Wings are proud to be entering their third year as partners - and are aiming to fly higher than ever before.

Having raised over £75,000 together over to support Lia's Wings in the last two years, the Impellam Group will be pulling together to try and hit a monumental goal: raising £125,000, to fund TEN of Lia's Wings life-saving aeroplane ambulance flights!

Lia's Wings is the only aeroplane ambulance charity for children in the UK. They provide vital air transfers for babies and children who are critically ill, helping them access the treatment and care they urgently need.

Last year Lia's Wings undertook 51 air ambulance transfers, but that number is set to grow again this year. I am taking on an incredible challenge, to help ensure they never have to say "no" to a family that needs them.

Any support you are able to offer is greatly appreciated, and will make a huge difference to Lia's Wings, and to every child they support this year.
