Story
On Sunday 26th April 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon in memory of Sherie Reynolds, raising money and awareness for Cardiomyopathy UK.
I first heard about Sherie through my co-worker, Jordan Southgate, and the incredible campaign created in her name to support Cardiomyopathy UK. It’s a cause that truly matters, one that deserves far more awareness than it currently gets.
Cardiomyopathy is a disease of the heart muscle that affects around 1 in 250 people in the UK. It’s the leading cause of sudden cardiac death in under 35s, often due to a lack of awareness and diagnosis. Cardiomyopathy UK is the only specialist charity providing vital support, raising awareness, and campaigning for better care for individuals and families living with this condition.
As a mum of two young children, this will be one of the biggest challenges I’ve ever taken on. It won’t be easy, but every step I take will be for a cause that gives families hope when they need it most.
Thank you so much for supporting me. Every single donation, no matter how small, genuinely makes a difference to families affected by cardiomyopathy.
