On 4th October, I will be taking on the challenge of running the Cardiff Half Marathon in aid of Marie Curie.

I thought I was being strategic picking an October race but alas training in this heat had been HARD. If any of you have seen me even on a moderately warm day, me trying to train in this heat deserves sponsorship alone :)

All the money raised will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.

£3 helps fund a meal for a patient in one of their hospices.

£26 helps fund an hour of bereavement support by phone

or webchat.

£207 helps fund nine hours of overnight nursing care in a patient's home.
