Story
In April 2026, we will be taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in memory of our beloved mum and nanny. She was the glue of our family, strong, kind and endlessly loving. Her warmth, laughter and love are missed every single day.
Unfortunately, in April 2021 she was diagnosed with scleroderma. After a long battle with this horrendous illness, she sadly passed away in January 2023. We believe that there is still a lack of awareness surrounding this disease, and SRUK plays a vital role in raising money for research.
We invite you to join us in this important cause by supporting our fundraising efforts for the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026. Our target is to raise £1,000 to help make a difference in the lives of those affected by scleroderma. Your contribution can help bring hope and awareness to this condition that affects so many. Together, we can honor her memory and support vital research.
