Hazel's fundraiser for RNIB - Royal National Institute of Blind People

Take on 250. Between 20th April and 31st July I aim to walk a total of 250 miles.
Every day in the UK, 250 people begin to lose their sight. At Canon, we believe the beauty of imaging should be experienced by all, and as part of our World Unseen campaign, colleagues across Canon UK&I and CEL are teaming up to raise valuable funds for RNIB, a charity focused on providing support to those that are blind or partially sighted.
Having temporarily lost my sight during a Multiple Sclerosis attack, I know how scary losing your sight can be. The RNIB were on hand to offer support, including providing assistive aids and help with navigating financial help. Most importantly to me though was having a helpline, so I could speak to someone who understood what I was going through. Thankfully my sight loss was temporary, but the RNIB were such a massive support, and any donation will go to ensure they can continue to be there.
I'm taking on 250 by challenging myself to walk 250 miles by 31st July. The 250 miles will be done as specific walks where I will take time to really look and see my surroundings - the rest of the steps on my fitbit will not count towards my target.
I would love your help in raising money to bring emotional and practical support to those who need it.
Thank you for your support!
