I’m taking part in the Local Solutions Big SleepOut. On 7 March I’m swapping my cosy bed for a sleeping bag to get a small insight into what rough sleeping is like and to raise funds for Local Solutions.

For 50 years, Local Solutions has been there for those who find themselves homeless, rough-sleeping or in extreme hardship.

We are a registered charity that works across the Liverpool City Region and North Wales, helping young people who are facing homelessness.

We offer temporary accommodation, longer term accommodation and a resettlement service, depending on how we can best help each young person.

During 2022/23, we supported over 600 young people between 16-25 with temporary accommodation, support, advice and guidance.
