Climbing over the Roof of the 02 Arena on 4/8/2024
"To commemorate my forthcoming 77th birthday, I have decided to do my really last challenge by climbing over the roof of the 02 London Arena.
As you may know, I have a great fear of heights, even to the extent of not going up the ladder into my loft! So this will be another challenge for me.
I will be raising money for the Livability Icanho Rehabiliation Centre for Strokes and Brain Injuries where my husband, Dave, had speech, mobility and occupational therapies for 9 months after suffering 3 strokes in 2021.
The wonderful Icanho therapists who helped him were kind, patient and knowledgeable and I believe Dave wouldn't be where he is today without their help.
Through their services, they help disabled people thrive and live well, changing what is unliveable, tackling the barriers they face and having the right to a full and flourishing life.
They urgently need your support at this time so please give generously to this important organisation so it can continue to help others to recuperate".
Thank you..... Hazel-Wendy and Dave
