In Memory of Hazel Geraldine Finch (nee Taylor)

Julie Riley is raising money for Stroke Association
In memory of Hazel Finch
Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Hazel had a major stroke in 2009 and made a remarkable recovery with a lot of support from medical professionals. She had another stroke in early April and died in hospital on 9th April.

Her kindness, generosity and genuine interest in others, meant she touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. We’ll all miss her incredible warmth, her wonderful baking and her baffling Somerset sayings. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and mother-in-law and so many family members and friends will miss her deeply.

For those of you who knew and loved Hazel, and want to remember her, we're asking for donations to the Stroke Association in her name instead of flowers.

Many thanks

Sarah and James
