Dear HBS OPM43’ fellows…

Since 6th Feb Monday, we as country and personally are devastated by the major earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 hit twice; Gaziantep/Kahramanmaras provinces and affected at least 10 provinces in southern Turkiye.

The death toll is rising every minute, and thousands of people are still holding on to life under the rubble. But we do not know for how long they can survive…The extreme weather conditions are also affecting the survivors that are already left without shelter.

Due to your questions and your willingness to help we talked with the authorised help groups from abroad and created a help channel for our OPM43 group. So we are launching this fundraising campaign to support the search and rescue efforts and help survivors to recover from the devastating effects of the earthquake. All the money raised will go to the Turkey Mozaik Foundation’s Kahramanmaras Earthquake Emergency Relief Fund to support civil society organizations working on the ground to provide immediate relief and medium to long term recovery to survivors of the earthquake.
