This year I’ll be running the London Marathon on 26th April for HCPT Group 97. It will be a big personal challenge as I’m pushing to break the 3 hour mark. A lot of training will have to go into achieving this!

I am raising funds for HCPT Group 97, a charity very close to my heart who I’ve been proud to be a part of for the last few years and I am travelling again at Easter 2026.

HCPT Group 97 is a Newport branch of the HCPT which is dedicated to taking children aged 7 to 18 and give them the most fantastic week on a pilgrimage holiday to Lourdes in the south of France each year. The needs of these children can be many and varied, including physical, emotional, social or behavioural. Some may never have experienced a holiday of any kind before, and each child has 1-2 volunteers for the holiday to give them the individual care they need. The week also gives parents and carers a much-needed break.
