Story
After such a successful expedition last year, WE ARE BACK!! 🚣🛶
We completed the famous “Haute Route”, trekking >200km from Mont Blanc in France to the Matterhorn in Switzerland and raised over £2,000 for Derbyshire Mind! We would all like to say a massive thank you once again to all who supported us!
We are now asking for your incredible support and donations to help us get through another gruelling challenge!
☀️HEAD FOR THE WILD SUMMER CHALLENGE 2024 IS HERE!! Our team of four complete beginners is embarking on a challenge that will push us to our limits. We are attempting to row across the Caledonian Canal; a 100km long waterway that runs through the Scottish Highlands starting in the Atlantic Ocean at Fort William 🌊 ending in the North Sea at Inverness 🐟 We aim of completing the full length in just 2 days!
As always, we're doing it all for a great cause - Derbyshire Mind, a local mental health charity that provides vital support to those in need.
We know this won't be easy, as we have never kayaked before! We'll be training hard both physically and mentally to prepare ourselves for what will undoubtedly be a highly demanding challenge. We're determined to succeed and show others that anything is possible, if you put your mind to it.
We are extremely lucky to have the pleasure of working with Nottingham Kayak Club, who are providing everything for us, training, equipment and most importantly opportunity. We are very grateful for their help and we could not do it without them.
