From studies conducted by Lupus UK, it is estimated that currently there are 50,000 people in the UK that are suffering from Lupus, which is 1 in 1000 people. 👥

However, this doesn't include the thousands of individuals that have gone undiagnosed; as well as the 46% of Lupus patients that are misdiagnosed in the first few years of their illness, due to the many symptoms that are often mistaken for other diseases.
