Story

Our team at Health Innovation North West Coast (HINWC) are taking part in a Dragon Boat Race to raise money for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity!

At HINWC we work to spread and adopt innovation in the NHS to improve health outcomes and support our local system.

It is our honour to support Clatterbridge Cancer Charity with their aligned mission to develop innovation in cancer treatment. 1 in 2 of us will be affected by cancer and with your help we can be at the forefront of treatments, vital research and innovative projects.

This is a cause close to the hearts of many of our team members and we are excited to do our bit by racing across Crosby Marina, adrenaline pumping, having fun together, to make a difference for those lives that have been affected by cancer.

Alli Hayes, Becca Wardle, Charlotte Hall, Claire Hodgson, Dave Dewhurst, Helen Williams, Jen Kohan, Katie Whittle, Lauren Peate, Michael Foo, Mike Kenny, Molly Bridgewood, Phil Jennings, Phil Wright, Rachael McDonald, Ruth Harris and Steve Adams will be rowing for our team and each need to raise £100 in order for us to hit our fundraising target. Many of our other team members who preferred to contribute in a different way will be coming down to the banks to support as part of our cheering squad!
