Walking 20 Miles for Hope House. Join Us in Making Quality Moments Matter
This year, Healthcare Matters is taking on something a little out of the ordinary, we’re walking 20 miles from our office to Hope House Children’s Hospices, and we’re doing it for a cause that’s very close to our hearts.
Why Hope House?
Hope House provides vital care, support, and comfort to babies, children, and young people with life-limiting conditions, and to their families.
But their work goes beyond clinical care: they help create quality moments. Chances for joy, peace, connection, play, and special memories during incredibly difficult times.
By taking part in the “Become a Champion / Quality Moments Matter” fundraising campaign, every pound we raise will be matched so the impact is doubled.
Our Challenge
• Distance: 20 miles
• Start Point: Our office
• Finish Line: Hope House
• When: 14th November 2025
• Goal: To raise £1000 (which will be matched to £2000)
We’re putting our legs, and our hearts to work. Every step, every mile is for the children and families who benefit from Hope House’s incredible care.
What Your Support Means
• £200 (doubled to £400) funds a week of hydrotherapy sessions — essential for well-being and comfort.
• £1,250 (doubled to £2,500) funds eight Sunshine Group sessions, giving children and their parents time together in a supportive, fun setting.
• £3,000 (doubled to £6,000) helps buy specialist play equipment for the hospices, reducing anxiety and distress through therapeutic play.
How You Can Help
1. Donate — Whatever you’re able to give, big or small, will be doubled, and will help make life a little brighter for families in very challenging times.
2. Share — Even if you can’t give financially, sharing our page with friends, family, colleagues and on social media helps amplify the cause.
3. Follow Along — We’ll post photos and stories during our walk so you can see your money in action.
Thank you for walking alongside us in spirit (and hopefully in donation). Together, we can help Hope House deliver more quality moments to children and families when they need them most.
