On Thursday 15th June 2023, all Hearthstone staff will be taking on the Hearthstone Walk of the Worlds! This walk will be a circular route starting and ending at one of our sites in Stoke Mandeville, Aylesbury. We will walk along the Chiltern Hills and over the ridgeway before passing Chequers and then back to Stoke Mandeville. The total will be 12 miles.

We are raising money for LATCH (Leeds Action to Create Homes). LATCH are a unique charitable organisation that refurbishes derelict and run-down houses in the Chapeltown, Harehills and Burley areas of Leeds. Once the houses have been fully modernised and furnished they provide housing for people who are homeless or in housing need.

Hearthstone aim to raise £2,500 to fund the cost of a container where building materials can be stored to enable the LATCH staff and volunteers to refurbish the properties. Hearthstone Investments will then work with its network of contractors, developers and other suppliers to help keep the container stocked up with materials for LATCH’s ongoing programme of refurbishments.
