The Hearts of Queens Christmas Appeal will once again support Refuge, the U.K.'s largest domestic violence organisation.

One woman in four will experience domestic violence at some point in her lifetime and two women are killed each week in England and Wales by a current or former partner.

Refuge supports thousands of women & children on any given day, experiencing domestic & sexual abuse, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.

It costs £500 per day to run one shelter. Our fundraising target - £3,000 - aims to pay for six shelters for one day this Christmas.
