Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

David James are raising funds for the British Heart Foundation by walking approximately 22 miles of the Cotswold Way, from Painswick to our office in Wotton-under-Edge.

The David James Hearty Walk will take place on Saturday 7th September, some of our team are walking the entire route and others will be joining in for stages. We are looking forward to a real team effort to tackle this challenge.

Sadly in 2023 we lost our colleague Ginny Thompson following a cardiac arrest at work. Ginny worked for David James for over 14 years, initially based in our Old Sodbury office and then at Wotton-under-Edge. Ginny was a loved and appreciated friend to staff and a huge support to colleagues and clients throughout the wider David James company.

This walk is dedicated to Ginny.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can.

We hope that all of our colleagues, friends, clients and associates will support our fundraising effort.

Thank you from the whole David James Team.
