Ullswater Way Challenge · 17 May 2025

We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

On 17th May 2025, my family, Brad and I will be walking 22 miles (The Ullswater Way), led by my sister’s online fitness community, Lorna Marie Fitness.

We are walking in memory of our beautiful auntie Annette (Netty), who passed suddenly with an undetected cancer in October.

Annette was a ray of sunshine; fun loving, kind and gave endless support to everyone she loved. It’s now time for us to support her back and raise funds for Cancer Research UK in her honour.

Cancer affects so many of us, and this walk is for Annette and for everyone impacted by this disease. Every step we take is in support of those still fighting, in memory of those we’ve lost and in hope for a future with better treatments and, one day, a cure.

Thank you for your support – it means the world to us ❤️
