On the 9th August I'm putting myself on the start line to run/walk/crawl the Race Across Scotland, a 220-mile ultramarathon spanning coast to coast climbing 7218 metres in the process.

As well as being a huge personal challenge I want to raise some money for the Alan Shearer Foundation.

The Alan Shearer Foundation exists to fund one of the UK’s most unique places: a specialist Centre offering FREE sensory experiences and support for people with complex disabilities. It was created with a donation from Alan’s testimonial — and nearly 20 years on, he’s still leading the charge to keep it going.
