On the 11th of May, I am completing the Loch Leven Half Marathon along with my boyfriend Sam and brother Jonathan. As someone who’s been an on and off running for years. I felt this would be a good challenge to keep me motivated and consistent!

I have made the decision to try and raise money as a part of this journey. I knew I wanted it to be related to a charity that supports people with kidney failure. As many of you will know, my dad has been battling with kidney diseases throughout his life and when his transplant failed in 2012, he has been back on dialysis since.

I asked dad what charity he felt would be the best to try and raise money for and he said the Tayside Kidney Patients Association. This is a local charity that impacts the lives of local dialysis patients.
