Story
Some years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and with the help of the NHS and Macmillan I kicked cancers arse and am still alive and kicking. I have been cancer free now for over 6 years. I was so grateful for the help and support that Macmillan gave me, and thousand of others like me, that I want to ensure that they will be there in the future to help patients with care, treatments, financial advice and just being there in case you need someone different to talk too and a cuppa! I consider that I am one of the lucky ones, but I know of others that haven't been so lucky. So I am taking on this challenge, again as I did it in 2019, to assist all those that may have their own cancer journey in the future.
I am doing this challenge as part of a team with my husband, daughter, brothers and cousins and their families. Why because my cousin thought it would be a good idea and we have all risen to the challenge.
Please give whatever you can, just to help those that don't know they need it yet! and hopefully none of you will ever need it.
