Story
✈️ 🪂I'm Skydiving for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Hi, I’m doing something a little bit wild — I’m jumping out of a plane!
On 27th September, I’ll be taking on a charity skydive to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and to support my friend Kelly, whose strength and resilience is inspiring.
💛 Why I’m Doing This
Kelly was diagnosed at just 14 with Gorlin-Goltz Syndrome — a rare, lifelong condition that causes recurring skin cancers, sight loss, and other serious complications. She had to undergo surgery every 6 to 12 weeks. There is no cure.
Three years ago, she was referred to The Royal Marsden, where she began a new treatment to help prevent further cancer growths. It came with brutal side effects — she lost her hair, her taste, and needed hospital care including a feeding tube.
But through it all, Kelly has kept going. 17 years on, she’s still here. Still fighting.
💙 How You Can Help
I’m doing this skydive to raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, so they can continue helping people like Kelly — and fund vital research and treatment that gives people hope, strength, and more time.
