Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!

We are fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help us fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.

In July 2024 Steve was diagnosed with glioblastoma (brain cancer) which was a huge shock to us. At the time Steve was unable to walk unaided, relying on a zimmer indoors and 2 walking sticks for outdoors. Thankfully due to the treatment he has received his mobility returned and so we are undertaking the Dundee Kiltwalk to raise awareness and funds for research into this cruel disease. Any amount you can give to this cause would be gratefully received and please share this page far and wide because you just never know. Thank you. Heather and Steve
