This September I am Stomping for: My beautiful big sister Zoe, and myself!

Because: I’m taking on this challenge for BRCA Chat in memory of my beautiful big sister, Zoe. Zoe was a BRCA1 carrier, and in 2021 we sadly lost her to secondary breast cancer. It is only thanks to her that I was able to get tested and discover that I am also a BRCA1 carrier. Knowing my BRCA status has given me the chance to take control of my future, make life-saving decisions, and one day protect my future babies by ensuring I don’t pass this gene down to them.
