In just over 2 weeks time Im travelling to Tanzania to climb, Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa in memory of my beautiful sister Sarah and for Vasculitis UK

Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain in the world, standing at 5895m high and over 500m higher than last years adventure to Everest Base Camp

8 days of camping and high altitude trekking with 50% less oxygen than at home, plus a 14 hour trek in the dark with a temp of -20C on summit night/day means that the average success rate can be as low as only c50%!! 😬
