We’re proud to be partnering with Marmalade Trust, a charity dedicated to raising awareness of loneliness and empowering people to make social connections.
Almost a decade ago, new research by the Campaign to End Loneliness revealed the scale of loneliness in our society and in response HEINEKEN UK began our Brewing Good Cheer campaign in 2016. We soon wanted to do more and work with a partner to maximise our impact in this space, using our brands and STAR pubs to brew moments of true togetherness. Therefore, in 2023 we entered into a long-term partnership with Marmalade Trust, a leading voice on loneliness and the creators of Loneliness Awareness Week, now a global phenomenon.
Working with Marmalade Trust, we are building a greater awareness and acceptance of loneliness as a natural human emotion and supporting those experiencing it.
All money raised goes directly to the trust, allowing them to deliver both impact and awareness through their campaigns and key programmes, including Marmalade Connections, Christmas Cheer, Loneliness Awareness week and Loneliness training.
