Story
As some of you will know, we sadly lost Mum/Grannie towards the end of last year. She spent her final weeks in Sue Ryder Manorlands hospice, where the staff were amazing and looked after the whole family. They truly cared about making Mum/Grannie as comfortable as possible in her final days, and treated her with dignity throughout. Nothing was too much trouble.
To show our gratitude to Manorlands for the outstanding care they provided, we are all taking part in the Great North Run half marathon in September to raise money and would be grateful for sponsorship. As none of us have ever run before, this will be a fun challenge.
Please donate whatever you can - every pound counts and will be much appreciated.
Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
