Story
Last November at the Bone Cancer Ball 2022, I decided I would do the Great North Run (definitely one drink too many 🙈). Adam Lever also said he was planning to do the London Marathon on crutches in April. Watching Adam complete the London Marathon in a record time was so inspiring! When I need motivation on my training runs I think back to it and it gets me through the run. Adam completed the London marathon to mark 10 years cancer free and wanted to raise £10,000 for Bone Cancer Research Trust. Adam has of course smashed his target and is now aiming to raise even more as Team tenforten!
I am therefore running for Adam’s Team tenforten! So please donate if you can to help us raise as much money as possible for an incredible charity! It will also help me get through the 13.1 miles on the day…

The Bone Cancer Research Trust is dedicated to saving lives & improving outcomes for people affected by primary bone cancer. Despite being small, they fund more research projects exploring primary bone cancer than any other organisation. Other large UK cancer research charities do not prioritise bone cancer patients, in 2019 just 0.028% of their research spend went to bone cancer – not even close to 1%!
Last year alone, Bone Cancer Research Trust committed an incredible £807,824 to pioneering bone cancer research - to save lives!
