The confirmation of my grandson Jack's diagnosis with Duchenne, a rare Muscular Dystrophy condition (DMD) predominantly affecting boys, left us all speechless and heartbroken. It was a devastating diagnosis, and Jack’s amazing parents are coping with this every single day.

Muscular Dystrophy UK are an amazing charity and provide vital support, information, and hope to families like ours who are facing the unimaginable. They fund groundbreaking research, offer practical help, and stand alongside families every step of the way.

That’s why I’ve decided to take on a personal challenge — completing 30 exercise classes in 30 days — to raise funds and awareness for this incredible cause. It won’t be easy, but it’s nothing compared to the daily challenges Jack and his family face.

Every class I complete will be for Jack — our brave, beautiful boy — and for all the other children and families living with Duchenne.
