Blenheim Triathlon · 1 June 2024 ·

The Old Fire Station is an arts centre in Oxford. We share our building with the charity Crisis, and we include people facing homelessness and disadvantage in everything we do. We believe art is for everyone, and we want to make Oxford a more equitable place to be through art and community.

Story

Join us as we take on the challenge of the Blenheim Palace Triathlon 2024!

We are a team of three, each with our own role to play:

The Swimmer - Helen

The Cyclist - Gaby

The Runner - Natalie

Our goal is to raise £300 with all funds going to support The Old Fire Station and Crisis Skylight Oxford.

These two organizations work in partnership to support people with experience of homelessness and bring creativity and community to Oxford. By participating in this triathlon, we aim to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those facing challenging times.

Through their work, people experiencing homelessness are invited to co-create and lead artistic work in their theatre and gallery, watch shows for free, join volunteering and training schemes, and become staff or trustees. They believe art is for everyone, so support people facing challenging times to become actors, poets, illustrators, theatre goers, volunteers, trainees.

All funds raised through the Blenheim Triathlon will be split equally between the two charities and be used in areas of greatest need. Your support will help us reach our target amount and make a difference in our community.

We thank you for you in advance for your kind donations, and invite you to come and cheer us on June 1st!
