Story
So this year it's time to raise a few quid for Climbing Out. The help and support I experienced from the fantastic team has been one of the crutches I needed to get me back on my feet after my traumatic leg injury.
So I am taking on the steep challenge of Caer Caradoc - which is steep!! The downhill will certainly be as challenging for me as the uphill.
Meanwhile Brad is going full on for the 6 peaks of the Shropshire hills (he will probably race around!) - A total of 31knm (18 miles).
Together we hope to reach our target of £300.
The challenge it'self ....
This year, our Fundraising Hike is taking place in Shropshire on Saturday September 20th, and it promises to be a great one!
We’ll be walking through some of Shropshire’s most iconic scenery tackling the Shropshire 3 peaks of Caer Caradoc, Hope Bowdler and Pole Bank on the Longmynd. We’ll also be chucking in 3 smaller peaks for good measure…..so it’s actually the Shropshire 6 peaks! At the same time we'll be raising funds for Climbing Out, helping it to continue its work empowering people who have experienced life changing illness, injury or trauma to find their way forward.
We would appreciate your contribution.
